ShogoLive is a subscription service that allows user to provide content, administer and manage your Shogo. You can set up your Shogo content by adding photo albums from photo portals, such as Flickr, Picasa, SmugMug, .Mac; connect to internet radio stations, subscribe to RSS feeds. You also get a new sharing experience by inviting your friends to be a Shogo Author that provide content for your Shogo. In addition, you can send your album from your Shogo to your friends who also own Shogos, by making them as Shogo Friend. All these exciting services are offered in ShogoLive.
The Shogo Administrator is the person who has the full right to administer the Shogo and manage the all the ShogoLive Content available to that frame: The administrator: - Must sign-up on myShogo.com - Is the user that register the Shogo on myShogo.com - Can add or remove all sorts of content for the Shogo (photo albums, weather information, iRadio stations…) - Can invite non-members or members of myShogo.com to become authors for the specific Shogo. - Can add Shogo Friends
Shogo Author is a person who has been invited by the Administrator to offer its own ShogoLive content , typically photo albums, to the Shogo.
Shogo Friend is another registered Shogo in myShogo.com.
By creating a “Friendship” link between your Shogo and another Shogo, you will then be able to share content directly from Shogo to Shogo without a computer.
It means when you receive on your Shogo a photo album you like, you can immediately share it with a Shogo friend at the click of a button on the frame itself, just select the album and click “send to a Shogo friend” and then select which Shogo Friend from your list you want to send the album to, that’s it!
The administrator for your Shogo must sign-in to myShogo.com, select your Shogo name, click on the dashboard link and there can select the option to add a Shogo Friend.
There are two models of shogo, SG 080 is a full function shogo, with 8 inches TFT LCD display, touch screen, battery back up and wifi connectivity. It has an internal storage of 1G memory, that allows you store up to 25,000 pictures. Alternatively, we also offer any entry model, SG 081a, which is a white color Shogo, with 512M memory and wifi connectivity.

To do that, just get the Network ID and the serial number of the Shogo from the box or from your friend after they have received and opened the package and sign-in to myShogo.com to register this new Shogo. From then on you are in charge, and once they have setup the Shogo to connect over the internet, they will automatically receive all the new content you have selected for them.
myShogo.com is a portal that has been created for Shogo users to manage and administer their Shogo digital picture frame and provision the content they want to access from the Shogo. When a user registered in myshogo.com, they are given the right to access to ShogoLive service for content provisioning of their Shogos.
To make use of ShogoLive content provisioning service, you need a username (or myshogo.com ID) to login to myshogo.com. This is not Network ID, nor serial number, nor Shogo name. It is just the identity for someone who can manage a Shogo as an administrator, or provide content to Shogo as an Author. With a username for myshogo.com; you can manage more than one Shogo both as administrator and Author. Just create a pseudonym that best represent you and easy to remember, together with a password, then you will have the access right to ShogoLive under www.myshogo.com.

What’s new in version 2.0? • Brand new user interface that makes browsing and viewing of your digital content much faster and easier. • View the content of your albums in thumbnail mode. • View your albums slideshows in random sequence. • A new facebook channel has been added to the myShogo.com web site allowing Shogo users to select from their favorite photo albums in their facebook account. These photos are then automatically sent over the Internet to the designated Shogo • The new Shogo Photo Mail feature enables the Shogo to automatically receive photos sent to any email address. These photos will be instantly and automatically available on the Shogo frame. • Support “private” albums and images in Flickr and picasa. You can now keep your photos private, and still be able to share them with Shogo frames 2. What are the changes in user interface You will get a much friendly user interface from version 2.0. At home page, you can select your four different types of content – Photos, Weather, internet Radio and Music. The upper right icon is the Setting icons, press on it to make all the setting changes. At any time, you can always go back to home page by pressing the Home icon at your upper left corner. The bottom is the status bar, which shows current time at the left, and the status icons on bottom right. Status icon will indicate WiFi signal strength, battery level and Mode of operation (after you select Photo from Home page). 3. What is the improvement in internet connection Version 2.0 not only strengthen the WiFi reception, it also detect direct Ethernet connection automatically. If you connect Ethernet cable directly to Shogo with the Ethernet port, you don’t need to do any setting and it will automatically connect to the Internet. Shogo will also detect your Wifi signal automatically, you can check your Wifi signal strength from the bottom right status bar, it indicates 5 levels of signal strength, if you are above level 3, you will be able to connect to the Internet properly. You may also need to put your password for WiFi connection, simply click on the Setting icon on the upper right corner, select Network, select your own WiFi network and input your password, then you will be connected to the Internet 4. What’s new in Photo Preview When you select Photo from home page, you can see all your albums thumbnails in one screen, this is the album preview page. Now you will find a new icon next in the control bar at the bottom right, next to Battery level icon, this is the status icon. On the upper right corner, you also see a new icon shows up next to the Setting icon. This is the action button. Action button serves different actions on different mode of operation. Let’s look at the use of the action button. a. Album preview – when you select Photo from Home page, all your albums are shown at this Album preview page. The action button is now in green, while the status icon is in blue, this means that it is ready for picture preview mode, when you select any album, thumbnails of all the pictures within the album will be shown, press on any of them will start slideshow. At Album Preview, you can also press the action button on your upper right which will change the color from green to blue (or press the green button of the remote), at the same time, the status icon will be change from blue to green, this change the mode directly to slideshow, you can just select any album and it will go directly to slideshow without any preview of photos. Also at Album Preview, you might see the third icon on the upper right with a yellow button, this is the Shogo friend button, if you have set up Shogo Friend, you can now press the Shogo friend button (or the yellow button of the remote), then you will see the bottom status icon change to yellow now, select one of the album and you can send to your Shogo album. b. Photo preview – after you press the green action button and select the album, you are now on Photo preview mode where thumbnail of the photos within your album will be shown. You now see a blue status icon at the bottom right, which stands for slideshow, press on any photo and it will start the slideshow. However, you can switch the action button to yellow color (or press the yellow button at your remote control), this time you can choose to copy any of the picture to Internal Memory. A dialogue box will confirm the copy action, press ok (or green button of the remote) to confirm copying. 5. How do I get Photos from my email account to Shogo? With version 2.0 software, you can now download all JPEG file from your own email account to Shogo. Just go to setting, select “Email”, enter your User name, which is typically the name that you set up your mail account for your PC, password, server (typically pop.xxx.com) and SSL. After the setup, simply update your content again, you can now see a new thumbnail photo called eMail on your photo page, that you can play back your email photo. 6. How do I delete my photos from email album? When you select Photo Preview for email album, the action button on the right will show a “trash”, press on it (or the yellow button on the remote), you can see the status icon change to delete mode, now select a picture and you can delete it according. Same thing applies to Internal Memory album. 7. How do I send album to my Shogo Friend? At Album Preview, you might see the third icon on the upper right with a yellow button, this is the Shogo friend button, if you have set up Shogo Friend, you can now press the Shogo friend button (or the yellow button of the remote), then you will see the bottom status icon change to yellow now, select one of the album and you can send to your Shogo album. Please also bear in mind that you cannot send albums from internal memory, email, memory card to Shogo Friend. 8. How do I get Photos from Facebook? With version 2.0, you can add your photos from your Facebook account, go to www.myshogo.com, select channel, select Facebook, you will be asked to sign in with your Facebook account with your password and your photos will be added. You can only add your own pictures from Facebook. 9. How can I set access to my private album from Flickr, Picasa? When you are now adding Sources in www.myshogo.com, you can select secure access and login your Photo accounts with account name and password. Once you chose Secure access, you are able to get the private pictures in your accounts as well as all public pictures. 10. In myshogo.com, when I selected my photo source, I saw a Shogo Logo in some of the sets/ albums, what does it mean? This means that those sets are already linked to the Shogo albums. This is also the same as in Internet radio, when you try to add new channel to the internet radio, if you see some channels with a Shogo Logo on the left corner of the thumbnail, it means that channel is already existed. Of course you can delete those channels in myshogo.com, by performing the delete action. 11. What is Theme in Setting? The version 2.0 allow you to change the background of your Shogo according to which color of Shogo you owns, If you have a non-touch screen Shogo, you should choose red button, if you have a black touch screen Shogo, you can change your background to black color, likewise white Shogo can choose a white color background.
